Lot of 2 Porcelain Dolls Dep 154 Made in Germany and marked 370 leather bodies
Porcelain/Leather Doll. Marked 370 - not able to read additional markings, they are covered by the leather. Approximately 21" tall, includes stand. Porcelain head and hands, leather body, fabric on lower leg. Face has painted eyebrows, eyelashes, lips and cheeks. Dimple in chin. Mouth open, teeth are visible. Eyes are blue, they do open and close. Paint is chipping on the eye lids. There is damage at the shoulders, leaking sawdust. Pin holes in the body/back. Wig has come lose. Hole in sox. Rust stains from stand on under dress back and front. Several other rust spots on dress and skirt. Fabric yellowed from age.
Porcelain/Leather Doll marked Dep. 154, made in Germany. Approximately 18" tall, includes stand. Head and lower arms porcelain. Face has painted eyebrows, eyelashes, lips and cheeks. Dimple in chin. Mouth open, teeth are visible. Eyes are brown, do not open and close. The body is leather and cloth. There is damage at many of the joints, leaking sawdust. The clothes are in good condition. There is a tag that says "Hand Made Especially for you by Judy Gentile", no reference to the company - not sure they are the original clothes. Shoes are by Lee Middleton.
