Our history has begun at the end of the Fifties, in the heart of Valpolicella.  The passion of Bruno Vaona, founder and soul of the farm, was shared and inherited by the family who still in our days take care of their own vineyards and make wines that truly express the land where they are produced.
The winery Giaretta expresses itself first of all through its wines.  Sometimes, though, it’s worth gazing at what our wines can only let you conceive.

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is obtained from the best grapes of every harvest, left to wither on wooden grids and pressed in January.   At least two years of ageing and subsequent refinement in bottle result in a ruby red wine with an intense bouquet of cherries and preserved morello cherries in alcohol, with a robust body and a particularly well-balanced flavor.

All wines have been carefully stored in a temperature control cellar at 55*.

We are committed to the complete satisfaction of our wine customers. If you should ever have broken bottles or delivery problems, please contact us. We will be able to handle any problems with UPS within a 30 day period following the expected delivery date. We will always work to get your problem solved as quickly as possible. We ship in styro-foam containers, for the most secure delivery possible.
Please understand that during the summer months, the shipping insurance does not cover heat damage incurred during shipping. We only ship on a Monday and Tuesday to limit the length of time that the wine is on the truck.
